Since 2013, the Inspirational Leadership program has delivered exceptional leadership training experiences and development tools to both our employees and our clients. Our ambition is that everyone at Bain experiences, learns, and demonstrates inspirational leadership, thereby transforming our daily interactions and creating differentiated personal assets and professional results. In 2018, the participation in the Inspirational Leadership program tripled and we served our first large-scale client implementation. We anticipate that growth will continue at a similar pace.

    Position Summary:

    The Coordinator, Inspirational Leadership is expected to contribute at a high-level to the ongoing success of Inspirational Leadership (IL) at Bain and for clients. S/he takes a lead role in supporting the Inspirational Leadership program: managing data and analytics for assessment tools, executing knowledge management priorities, and supporting aspects of program management (e.g., maintaining resource portal).

     

    The Coordinator works as part of a larger Inspirational Leadership team and also interfaces with colleagues in Global Training, counterparts in other Bain departments, a global network of Inspirational Leadership champions and external vendors. The position requires strong performance on value addition, client and team skills.

     

    The Coordinator is expected to demonstrate a steady upward trajectory in the depth and scope of his/her contributions over time, expanding on his/her expertise in the focal areas of the role and taking on additional program management responsibilities within Inspirational Leadership over time

    Responsibilities

    Data and Analytics Management

     

    1. Manage Inspirational Leadership Assessments (IL360, IL Emerging Strengths)

    • Interface with organizers and participants on Inspirational Leadership sessions, answering questions on preparation, analytics, and feedback
    • Track assessment completion leading up to training sessions and troubleshoot with local organizers
    • Drive the process for data collection, analysis, and reporting for IL survey vehicles, including decision-making around data normalization, report presentation, and report generation
    • Innovate new methodologies for distributing assessments, increasing level of customization and efficiency
    • Evolve survey content and questions over timeScope out and execute complex analytics
    •  
    • Test IL framework with on-going analysis of growing dataset
    • Confirm/reject existing hypotheses about Inspirational Leadership
    • Provide additional analytics support for relevant cross-department priorities (e.g., Worldwide Employee Survey) 

    2. Structure, analyze, and synthesize program feedback and completion metrics

    • Update and publish Emerging Strengths report database on a monthly basis
    • Tailor survey structure and approach to relevant event (e.g., in-office workshop, client session, recruiting event)
    • Distribute and track completion of feedback surveys after IL events
    • Distill insights from feedback; suggest and scope out areas for improvement, flag any recurring issues
    • Translate feedback trends over time into insights for the program

    Knowledge and program Management

     

    1. Administer Inspired app

    • Frame up and troubleshoot app issues with external developers
    • Analyze app data on monthly basis and drive insights on usage
    • Monitor posts for fit and legal considerations
    • Manage and update app content through Content Management System (CMS)

    2. Maintain Inspirational Leadership assets on the new learning management system

    • Learn the back-end system to be able to upload and maintain IL digital content
    • Ensure IL materials on the system are updated regularly and relevant new materials are added
    • Develop set of regular metrics to support analysis and measurement of program and content effectiveness

    3. Provide administrative support for the Inspirational Leadership champion network

    • Keep the IL Champion Portal (i.e., SharePoint site) up-to-date with the latest resources
    • Maintain the IL champion distribution list and incorporate changes on monthly basis

    Requirements:

    • BS, BA or equivalent undergraduate degree required with strong academic credentials
    • 3+ years of experience in a professional services firm environment with exposure to one or more of the following functional disciplines: knowledge management, consulting, marketing, finance, strategic planning, business development, product development, and/or project management
    • Command of role-specific applications, including content management systems (for mobile app development and application management), online analytics systems (e.g., MixPanel, Google Analytics) and survey systems (e.g., Qualtrics, Survey Monkey)
    • Expertise in Excel and familiarity with Alteryx and Tableau; comfort with designing and executing complex analytics including but not limited to linking multiple data sources, scoping out complex methodologies, and working with appropriate support to program and troubleshoot VisualBasic macros
    • Experience and proficiency creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations
