Position Summary
As a member of the Collaboration Technology Team, you will be responsible for the administration of current and future collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Trello, Miro and other similar platforms. In this role, you will assist in the back-end operational support by ensuring security, implementation and governance. In addition, the role will work with internal customers to provide day-to-day customer support. The ideal candidate will be an independent, self-starter, who is not afraid to try new things and able to find creative and innovative solutions for solving a problem.

Responsibilities

 

Deployment and governance of Collaboration Tools:

  • Assist in overall rollout of collaboration technologies
  • Learn and become an expert in new tools
  • Assist in testing new technologies that are being rolled out to end users
  • Train customers and assist with the creation of customer facing materials
  • Create training materials
  • Participate in project teams where customized sites or components are required

Supporting Deployed tools:

  • Assist customers and IT support teams with issues related to collaboration technology
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise and assist with remediation; document solutions and troubleshooting steps
  • Work with vendors when new bugs or issues arise

Additional duties:

  • Attend and actively participate in team Kanban meetings, including daily standups, retrospective and planning meetings
  • Other duties related to collaboration technology as necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working with enterprise software or related IT field
  • Familiarity with collaboration software such as SharePoint, Office 365 or similar technologies
  • Strong English communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team atmosphere
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience
