This position is responsible for projects related to support, implementations and continuous improvement of Bain’s core finance systems. This includes legacy systems as well as systems being implemented or developed used for financial or management reporting. Typical customers are members of the Global Finance team but also include firm management and other global departments. The position works closely with other Financial System analysts, product owners, developers and customer stakeholders.
The job includes any/all tasks involved with maintaining, launching and enhancing financial systems capabilities. Responsibilities range from monitoring system processes and spotting issues, understanding user requests, keeping backlogs, prioritizing fixes, participating in the design, configuration, testing, documenting and training of new functionality, as well as supporting current systems and processes. To be successful, this role will demonstrate an understanding of the customer needs; ability to solve problems accurately, timely and independently; professional and concise written and verbal communications to customers at all levels in the organization.
