Bain Nordic currently has approximately 500 employees, we are now looking for a maternity cover (12 months) for a HR Specialist to support in a variety of areas within HR.


We are looking for someone with previous experience from a fast paced, results orientated environment, to be part of our dynamic Stockholm Office team. Our corporate culture is high pace, fun & international with strong emphasis on quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities as a HR Specialist at Bain

As part of the HR-team you will support in a variety of areas within HR to ensure the delivery of high quality service to Bain Nordic’s functional and consulting professionals. The role involves coordinating processes and administration for all of Bain Nordic’s offices with focus on the Stockholm and Helsinki offices.


The overall objective of the role is to support the Nordic HR Team in organisation, execution and administration of HR and Professional Development activities for both functional and consulting professionals. The focus of the role will vary at different points during the year, key tasks will include the following:


  • Support in the full management of the employee life cycle
  • Support in Business Function recruiting and succession planning
  • Develop and manage Business Functions on boarding and integration
  • Develop and manage Business Function annual training calendar
  • Support performance management/review processes
  • Manage exit process across all functions for Stockholm and Helsinki
  • Other support and administration for HR and Professional Development

Qualifications and Experience

You are a service minded professional with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in order to make sure that everything runs efficiently. We believe that the right candidate has the following profile:

  • Background and education within HR or relevant filed
  • Good understanding of employment law
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High level of social and communication skills – professional and diplomatic
  • High integrity with ability to build trust with fellow employees /other stakeholders regarding handling sensitive situations and personal information
  • Proactive and being one step ahead in a fast paced environment
  • Service minded and solving questions or issues efficiently
  • Team player and enjoy collaborating
  • High level of written and spoken English – in addition to one Nordic language (Swedish, and Finnish)
