Position Summary

As a Specialist in the Office of the CIO, you will support the department’s technology strategy with a focus on the financial implications and department performance that will help drive key decisions. This role will leverage their knowledge of our key IT programs to work with various groups across the organization to keep us in line with our set budget. This individual will have the opportunity to collaborate with TSG and business function team members to help put frameworks in place to improve the department’s efficiency when leveraging other business functions. This role requires a highly organized, independent, and analytical person who is willing to take on challenges and find solutions with different audiences.


Essential Functions



  • Track Global TSG spend on a monthly basis, coordinating with Global FP&A, Global Accounting, TSG Leadership, business representatives, and Extended Leadership teams to resolve issues as necessary.
  • Identify a strategy for tracking TSG headcount and implement it with Global FP&A and OCIO team.
  • Assist TSG team members with invoice coding, chargeback procedures, and questions about remaining budget.
  • Partner with Manager of TSG Business Operations to prepare yearly budget for TSG, consolidating headcount and monetary requests.
  • Coordinate with Global Procurement team and TSG stakeholders on new contract estimates to update forecasts.


  • Partner with Manager to build and independently maintain a TSG metrics dashboard (NPS, user adoptions, expected spend, etc.) to track IT achievements against objectives.
  • Assist in the presentation and delivery of these metrics to TSG and firm leadership audiences.
  • Coordinate the delivery, collection, and analysis of a quarterly TSG survey to Bain technology users requesting feedback on our services.
  • Help identify new metrics to collect with Manager of TSG Business Operations to highlight department achievements.


  • Work with Finance, Human Resources and TSG team members to establish efficient and sustainable processes to scale growing business needs
  • Document newly created business processes in easily-digestible manner to communicate with the broader TSG department.


People & Culture

  • Contribute to the rich culture of the local New Delhi TSG department
  • Act as a key on the ground resource and point of contact for the Office of the CIO department. Such responsibilities include:
  • Regular involvement and participation in department related events and activities
  • Relaying local feedback to the broader Office of the CIO team to drive positive change in the organization
  • Work with Manager and Office of the CIO team to implement ideas based on feedback gathered



  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years of experience in technology, finance, or related field.
  • Experience working with various audiences throughout an organization and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working with financial data (e.g. managing budgets, working on financial systems, etc.)
  • Experience capturing metrics (e.g. NPS, adoption rate, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  • Understanding of IT contracts.
  • Exposure to survey collection tools and their administrative dashboards.
  • Behave as a self-starter who spots issues that need to be addressed and take action.
  • Understand how to frame conversations when collaborating with different audiences to reach solutions.
  • Excellent organizational, quantitative and analytic skills.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Desire to learn new skills and processes.
  • Proficient user of Excel and PowerPoint.
