BCN plays a critical role in supporting Bain's case teams globally to help with analytics and research across all industries, for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services
The scope of the role covers entire gambit of IT capabilities: IT infrastructure mapping, enterprise platform efficiency/capability assessment and overall IT health assessment for leading organizations.
Incumbent will work with BCN CoE which further supports the Enterprise Technology Practice. The Enterprise Technology Practice is foundational to Bain’s Digital Delivery Platform, called Vector™ and helps clients realize the full business potential from their technology resources, investments, and assets. Our global network of partners have supported 1000+ technology engagements, including the world most complex global companies. In addition, Bain leverages a strong partner ecosystem for implementation & delivery services when required.
The position will require the person to develop and drive a team to enhance delivery capabilities by focusing on the following:
Survey design and deployment to capture the right set of data/metrics from IT organizations
Leveraging appropriate analytical tools to slice and dice the data
Analyzing industry trends to identify key improvement areas
Combining information from the company and industry with benchmarking database to drive insights across key dimensions – strategy, systems, application, resources and cost
The IT assessment should yield data-driven insights related to technology capabilities, spend, productivity and other key metrics to identify areas for strategic growth and modernize IT operations. The manager will be required to interview senior technology leads across organizations to gather critical input required for detailed diagnostics of company’s IT health.
Project Leaders lead teams of analysts to produce client-ready research and analysis, generating strong business insights and understanding implications. Project Leaders work under the guidance of a Manager / Sr. Manager, playing a key role in driving the team’s overall answer and final materials, client communication, work planning, and team management.
This individual will likely come from a consulting organization with a focus on technology strategy and will have a successful track record of identifying issues, creating hypotheses, and executing analyses in at least 2-3 technology-based cases.

Client Serving and Development
Leads a team of Associates and Analysts to execute multiple cases simultaneously
Responsible for assigning work streams. Monitors and manages workload and resolves overloads.
Proficient at identifying and using the relevant analytical tools and ensure zero-defect in all work streams and ensures quality work delivery
Understand client needs and situations and adapt to case expectations. Show ability to resolve complex issues across work streams
Communicate data, knowledge, and clearly explain insights and implications for the client to the entire team.
Generate and screen realistic answers based on sound reality checks and recommend actionable solutions
Consistently provide responsible feedback in all interactions; recognizes team’s development needs and provide feedback toward constant improvement
Support recruiting efforts for on-campus, industry, and other channels throughout the year
Successful candidates will have a track record of client work in technology, team and client promoters, and alignment to the key requirements for the role. Experience working with global clients or organizations is a plus.
5+ years of professional experience with 2-3+ years of progressive roles in management consulting
Excellent survey analytics, work planning, communication and team skills, and able to handle multiple tasks
Proficiency in Tableau and/or Alteryx
Experience can be a mix of management consulting, technology strategy consulting, internal strategy, and/or industry roles related to strategic technology issues
Experience and results track record across a broad range of technology topics including digital technology transformations, technology strategy and architecture, organization and operating model and performance improvement
Ability to excel at solving problems that require logical reasoning, creating thinking, comfort with numbers, and the ability to untangle complex issues
Ability to engage with client on strategic decisions required for enterprise IT implementation/transformation
Deep expertise/experience in a single or small set of specific technology topics is a plus
Incumbent should be a B.E, B.Tech and/or MBA from top-tier institute/university with strong academic records and minimum 5 years of relevant experience
