This position is involved with the support and implementation of business systems with a strong focus on Talent Management. This person will work closely with functional teams to implement and enhance systems according to their business strategy.   Responsibilities for this role include collaborating with the team to define business requirements, creating functional specifications, developing project plans, and maintaining continuously improving the system on a go forward basis.

1. Provide ongoing support and maintenance of Talent systems

  • Manage production support issues through resolution for global user group
  • Provide technical assistance to a global user group
  • Participate in feedback sessions with customers to gain insights and validate assumptions
  • Collaborate with vendor as needed to develop create solutions to technical and reporting issues
  • Support integrations and/or collaborate with IT on necessary integrations
  • Create, monitor, tweak reports and dashboards
  • Manage system upgrades, including developing and executing test plans, identifying system dependencies and highlighting risks
  • Maintain user security in accordance with guidelines approved by team
  • Manage cyclical data auditing processes

2. Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of talent systems

  • Actively participate as a member of cross functional operating team
  • Gather, synthesize and plan implementation of business requirements using agile framework
  • Conduct interviews, surveys, focus groups and/or workshops with stakeholders and end-users as needed
  • Translate needs and practices into comprehensive system design
  • Draft system specifications and workflow process
  • Technical configuration of new process and plans
  • Create needed integrations and/or collaborate with IT on necessary integrations
  • Field enhancement requests, assess scope then align with team on approach and priority
  • Develop documentation and training materials
  • Prepare and conduct training sessions
  • Write reports and gain testing approval from the functional team
  • Provide implementation support

3. Perform other duties as assigned

  • Degree in HRIS or IT with
  • 3 - 6.5 years of progressive work experience with exposure to systems-related role
  • Preferred experience with SaaS implementation and/or agile development
  • Proven strong logic, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience supporting technical system configuration and integrations
  • Ability to translate user needs into technology design
  • Self-starter with discipline to work independently or as part of a team
  • Demonstrated understanding of Talent Management and IT concepts
  • Strong communication skills with a customer service orientation and an ability to work well with all levels of the organization
  • High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience
